Dr. Allison Bergin
Some of you may recognize me as I grew up here in Northwestern Illinois. After completing veterinary school at the University of Illinois in 2016, I worked locally as well in a mixed animal practice helping pet owners and farmers alike. Between 2018 and 2021, I was in Milwaukee pursuing my passion for helping families with end of life care for their pets. During that time I helped almost 1600 families say goodbye to their loved ones in the comfort of their own homes. I returned to the area to be near family and quickly realized how much I missed this specific area of veterinary practice. It's such honorable work being able to help both pets and families navigate a challenging and meaningful part of life.
The bond families have with their cherished pets is truly incredible. Being able to provide a peaceful and dignified passing in the homes they've always known, surrounded by their favorite people, is a gift I'm very thankful to be able to share.
